How long have Profmedassist been operating in the market?

We've been providing medical services in the Russian Federation for more than 25 years. From 1998 until the end of 2022, the companies JSC AEA International (Sakhalin) and JSC International Medical Clinic (Moscow) operated under the brand "International SOS"; from 2023 these companies operate under "Profmedassist" name.

Is it possible to deliver a first aid training for employees in our office?

We provide First Aid Trainings (FAT) at Client’s place in any part of Russia. We will bring equipment and materials to deliver proper practical training at your location.

Could you consult on reducing the incidence of illness at the enterprise?

We are ready to consult you. Our experts will analyze the most common reasons for visiting a clinic/doctor, and provide recommendations on preventive measures, vaccinations and medical examinations. We also have a large information base for educational work with personnel by lectures, email newsletters and webinars.

To which regions of Russia do you evacuate patients in case of emergency?

The destination of medical evacuation depends on the location of a patient and the severity of the incident. This could be Moscow or St. Petersburg, and for the eas of Russia - specialized medical centers in the Sakhalin and Amur regions, in the Khabarovsk Territory and in the city of Vladivostok.

How quickly can a medical service be organized at a construction site, if the nearest populated area is 120 km far?

The planned mobilization usually takes 4-6 weeks. Shorter time is possible and to be agreed individually depending on work volume.

How does the Profmedassist determine which hospital patients from remote sites should be taken to?

Before the launch of the project our specialists will make assessment of the key health care facilities (current capabilities, equipment etc.) located within a motor vehicle accessibility from the Client’s site.

Can I be sure that remotely located clinic still provides high quality and full scope of medical services? Will it be supplied properly throughout the entire period of operation despite the remoteness of location?

The management of Profmedassist medical department monitors on a monthly basis the quality of medical services at the remote site clinic, reporting, treatment protocols, a minimum supply of medications, verification of medical equipment, etc. In addition a medical coordinator is available 24/7 for a remote site doctor to assist in complex cases.

Can I call a doctor at home?

Do you provide transportation services for a bedridden patient?

Yes, we do. Profmedassist will support you in transportation of bedridden patients from a medical facility to their place of residence including lifting to the floor.

Do you work with insurance companies?

We work with all major insurance companies represented in Sakhalin. We can sign contract with your insurance company for direct settlements, if needed.

Do you provide on-site vaccination services?

We provide vaccinations at companies' offices and/or at remote sites.

What types of medical examinations are available at your clinic?

Pre-placement and periodical medical examinations, pre-trip and post-trip, advanced medical examinations, any kinds of preventive medical check ups.

Do you provide laboratory services and functional diagnostic services?

“Profmedassist Sakhalin” provides a wide range of laboratory diagnostic services using modern equipment, and functional diagnostic services, such as ultrasound investigations, bicycle ergometry (cardiac stress test), 24-hour blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), and Holter monitoring.

Do you have medical specialists who can see English-speaking patients?

We can arrange an appointment with English-speaking doctors at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Clinic.

Can you do a medical examination for visa (Korean, Japanese and others)?

Yes, we can do medical examinations for Korean, Japanese and other visas on request.
