An employee involved in one of the projects in Sakhalin region has seen our doctor. He complained of fatigue, chills and headache. Then the man was tested positive for Covid-19.
The patient recognized to be at high risk because of arterial hypertension and excess weight, so the doctor initiated immediate medical transportation to the nearest hospital, where сomputed tomography has been performed. The test confirmed lung injury. The doctor accessed patient’s state being of moderate severity, so he called for air ambulance from Moscow and the patient has been transported.
Doctors in Moscow confirmed 50% of lung injury due to Covid-19 and offered comprehensive treatment. Despite the huge lung injury the man recovered completely and was back home unescorted.
